Apple is back with iPad 2!!!

you have used the ipad...
how is it???
still whats the practical use of it? you can't take it to university in your pocket as a cell phone. And things which you can do with it, can be done much BETTERLY with a laptop and few gadgets attached to it.

1) if u hv net book then its useless but if u have a heavy notebook like mine then it really is good.

2) u can note down all notes of classes in classes (so u won't need any register) directly and read from iPad. It would be just u n ur iPad... lol
To be honest its very practical when it comes to reading a book or surfing on the internet, nothing happens if u drop it while sleeping while readin book. Now i think its a good thing but price is toooo high. iPad 2 is startin from $499 (16GB)that makes around 42K (without tax in pakistan) while net books costs what? 30K? max 38K?
My verdict! If u have a laptop already then go for iPad or any equivalent but if u dont have laptop then buy a net book...If u say the practicality than ipad rivals are better than this....

i will never go for ipad ...ilike tablets but not ipad....well how can you take notes on ipad while sitting in class?

First you will be alone using such thing in the class, and will uni allow it?
Uni cant allow such thing, because while lecture students will be watching that you know what they watch :D
And after crossing every hurdle, how can we type so fast on ipad? we write 5 to 8 pages per hour.
And internet surfing in uni can be done by any wifi enabled phone. And it works really good, teacher asks a question, students search it in a sec and answer it, teacher thinks he is a genius. While using ipad your teacher will know that he is using ipad for answering, because you can't hide it due to big size.
Ebook reading can be done by printing out a hard copy or just on your laptop or even on mobile phones.
@ ELite: yeah! iPad is rubbish, i personally like motorola's xoom, its good...

@ Firestarter: (1) with multitouch input you don't need to type, just take the stylus n write normally like u write on register (iPad doesn't have stylus but others have)
(2) Our uni have wifi but it works for only faculty members. nobody has been able to break in, so video thing is not an issue, it can be stopped.
(3) and if you take print outs as hard form, what will u do after semester gets over? throw them away? what if u need them after sometime? i got whole book printed in first semester, costed me 1.2K. NOw i don't even remember where is that book n i have soft form of that book in PCs... Tablets are made to throw away papers :) if u dont like iPad then dont hate tablets, go for samsung or LG. they have bigger screens and cost less...iPad z just a status symbol which sucks money...
