Here comes the thing about which whole world wants to hear. WRC.... If you take your stamina, your thinking speed, your decision making power, your reaction time to F1 level, think you're the dummest driver in the world of rallying. The 2011 WRC season started on 12th February. the_SHIFT brought you the news that Ford Focus has been replaced by razor sharp Ford Fiesta and Citreon C4 has been replaced by breath-taking DS3 but as it turned out, Fiesta simply trashed DS3 in swedish forests..
All top 3 slots got locked on by Fords with Citreons of Sabastien Loeb coming home 4th overall. Mikko Hirvonen won the Swedish rally with his Abu Dhabi Ford team.

Superstar and stunt driver Ken Block didn't like Swedish atmosphere much as he couldn't finish in the points table. Ken Block released his stunt driving video called Gymkhana which showed the rallying potential of Ford Fiesta and outlined the true capabilities of Ken. Ken Block is also featured in dIRT 3 and dIRT has become an official sponsor of Ken Block but things didn't seen good for him as he got trapped in ice 3 times. With a new livery and new hopes for the 2011 season, F1 champion Kimi Raikenon could pull the trigger as he had hoped. Kimi finished 8th overall. The new livery for Kimi Raikenon's car was revealed just 2 weeks before the start of 2011 season. The Citroen junior team has been renamed to the ICE-ONE team which can be clearly seen written on the door.
