2005 Nissan Micra and just look at it, from every angle this car looks desperate...
Well you just saw the nissan micra also known as nissan MARCH in Pakistan. Its hidious... Everytime somebody looks at it he thinks "nah! i think i need to go to bathroom." Top gear called it to be the worst car in the automotive history but still nissan didn't give up and made a new one to hit the roads in 2011 and i've got to say its just astounishing. They have totally restylled it and it does look like a car at least... Just like many other cars this new one is also going to make its first proper appearance to the public at 80th Geneva Auto show.
Well this car has been equipped with loads of equipment compared to its price. In terms of engine there are only two options, both are actually nissan's all-new HR12 1.2Litres 3-cylinder petrol engines. Base model produces 59kW and torque is rated at 108Nm while the other model have supercharged 1.2litre direct injection engine producing 72kW and max torque of 142Nm.
The new Nissan Micra is available with reversing sensors and a new 'parking space measurement' (PSM) device with three skill levels (amateur, normal and expert) to lessen the burden of parking in tight spaces - a unique feature in this segment, and likely to be a popular innovation in Europe where 'touch parking' is a way of life.
It also offers an Intelligent Key, Nissan Connect, Nissan's accessible touch-screen combined audio and satellite navigation system, glass roof, automatic wipers, speed sensitive volume on the audio, a push button start-stop system in addition to a drive computer which supplies drivers with real time fuel economy information, cruising range and outside temperature. On the security side, the car is also fitted with a speed-sensitive automatic door locking system.
After looking at first model it seems like designer needed to go to washroom, and he was determined to design the car before going to poop or pee.
ReplyDeletesecond one is really cool, but still most Japanese little cars are like this one i think.
not only japanese but european C-segment cars are also like this... in this geneva auto show aston martins smallest car ever is making its debut. its called cygnett...that one is really cool...
ReplyDeletethere is hell of competition in C-segment cars cuz every company makes small city cars so there are a lot of options available
