What Pakistani Youth is Doing the Wrong Way!

So I am not going to write a lot, just will give you comparison of two personalities and then will present the reaction of the youth of a sovereign and a nation that claims to have self respect to the death of these personalities. A nation who foresee a bright future as one of the best Islamic state on the planet earth. From the comparison I would give a verdict and then you'll have the responsibility to let me know about your thoughts and spread the word, Jazak-Allah in advance.

Lets start with Dr. Israr Ahmed, one of the most noticeable Muslim scholar. He is religiously acclaimed in South Asia, Middle East and by Muslims in  India, North America and European countries. Regardless of the education he got or his profession, he is considered pretty influential in Muslim society.
He had true Islamic concepts and God had gifted him the ability to fully clarify the true spirit of Islam teachings in front of any sensible human. Any Islamic problem that was put forward in front of the Muslim community considered and thought up on his opinions and suggestions seriously. So as Muslims of one of the most powerful Muslim nation on earth, Pakistan, we were needed to consider him a well manner, well educated and a pious person which of course most of the Pakistani did. This great personality left us in 2010 because of a heart attack. Religious groups paid great homage and about 20,000 people gathered on his funeral but that is only one side of picture...
On the other hand we have Paul Walker, an American Superstar. Famous for his Fast & the Furious Squeals. Unlike Dr. Israr Ahmed, he wasn't even a Muslim, he had no believe in Islamic preaching and values.
He may have known the concept of God because of Christianity but keeping in mind his actions, it didn't reflect that. He had absolutely no relation with Pakistan or Pakistani nation apart from the fact that Pakistani youth used to watch and love his Fast and the Furious movie series. Paul Walker died in a car crash on 30th November, 2013 when he was riding along with a racing driver in a Carrera GT.
Now for the comparison, among youth as my memory rests, I saw a rare participation in the funeral of Dr. Israr Ahmed, there was no hype created by anybody, not a single person messaged me on my cell-phone that such a novel personality is no more among us and most of all there was not a single status update on Facebook by any person. On the other hand, in case of Paul, news channels went berserk that Paul Walker has died, I started receiving messages on my cellphone that Paul has died, there was such a hype created like our father, brother has died and worst of all, worst of all my Facebook was flooded by status updates, "R.I.P Paul", "You'll be missed Paul" and stuff like that...
Now as Muslims it was our moral duty, for each and every Muslim to pray to God to gift us with more people like Dr. Israr rather than mourning over a pity person who died as a non-muslim. We in Pakistan curse our leaders for everything that is happening in our scared homeland but nobody realizes that in reality we have left the rope of God free for which God ordered us to hold firmly.
We believe, follow and praise film-stars and then ask God for His goodwill. We label our religious scholars as religious fanatics, fundamentalists,  terrorist and label film-stars as our (God forgive!) god. Where film-stars only instill bad deeds in our society like boyfriend-girlfriend culture, drinking, gambling, and other weird stuff. I don't think that God helps a nation if it acts in this way. What do you think?

  1. First thing, i still don't know who paul walker is, and what was his importance. I did watch last FnF, i remember it had a Japanese guy, few bald guys, and some other people. i remember that they were shifting gears in an automatic car also. I don't remember him in the movie. And i can bet on it, most of the people who are giving such status about him will also be not knowing about him before his death. Its just an internet phenomenon, people are giving status about his death to look cool and up to date about Hollywood. Its like, if you wear Nike shirt, next day you might see few other guys wearing GA or Cambridge shirts and telling people I bought this for this much amount and its genuine. The first person never would have thought of show off but, other people do copy such trends to look cool. Here is the same case, people are copying each other statuses. That's all. People who cannot write or talk English, or those who watch FnF in Hindi dubbing will also be giving such statuses.
Regarding Dr.Israr. He was a very great person, we cannot compare them. Dr. Israr is remembered by the thoughtful, refined and gentlemen type of people, whereas people copying statuses regarding Walker are just suffering from inferiority complex desperate to get into the so called upper class. And my comment is for Pakistan, not for other countries :)

  2. I just compared them for giving an idea of one of the major reasons for our downfall, that we give more importance to filmstars rather than our religious scholars or our own fellow countrymen who dies daily because of target kilings, suicide bombings, drone strikes etc. Dr. Israr will always have the true position in the hearts of righteous people but this fact really kills.
Even it was for show-off reason then people should use sense, and i too meant people of Pakistan, they should be mature enough to realize the fact that paul was no one, not anything to dedicate a status
